Hey parents and students!
My name is Gracia Platt and I am the HSA K/1 ARTS teacher on Mondays and Tuesdays. This year at HSA, we will be focusing on Africa by learning about the culture, animals, people, patterns, and the countries. Our big end of the year performance is The Lion King!
This is my first year of teaching and I am so excited to start this new journey with all of you! I recently graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education in Linguistics, Cum Laude.
I just celebrated my 3 year wedding anniversary with my husband, Fred. We have 2 fur babies who I love dearly, Peyton (a golden retriever) and Penny (a lab, boxer, border collie mix). We bleed blue and orange in our family so on Sundays and some Mondays and Thursdays you'll find us either at a Bronco's game or watching with a huge viewing party from our home. I am a lover of all things Disney, the mountains, the ocean, and ketchup!
